Samdhana is heading to Morocco, and we’d love for you to join us for a special retreat on the stunning Atlantic coast in Essaouira. Here, daily rhythms take on a magical quality: the crash of waves against ancient ramparts, the hypnotic pulse of Gnawa music, footsteps and chatter weaving through the medina, the vibrant energy of the souk, and the call to prayer drifting through the air. Essaouira is a place of color, culture, and deep sensory beauty. It never disappoints.

For eight days and seven nights, we’ll live in conscious community by the sea, blending practice with adventure, stillness with play, and soaking in the richness of Moroccan life.

Each morning begins with two hours of yoga, breathwork, meditation, and a touch of philosophy to guide your experience. Afternoons are yours to rest, explore, or join cultural excursions. In the evenings, we’ll return to the mat for Yin, restorative practices, breathwork, myofascial release, or playful partner stretching.

Between it all, there’s space to wander the medina, linger by the sea, or simply be.
